there are no guarantees. The book industry is very competitive,
and agents want books that they can sell to publishers. Once you
demonstrate that you are bankable and dependable, your agent will
do everything possible to promote your work.

while others may require anything from a 100-page sample to a
completed written or digital manuscript, with samples of artwork.
